Section 1: INTRODUCTION
Driven Worldwide is committed to undertaking its services in an ethical way and ensuring that all parties involved in delivering that service receive the appropriate recompense for their work. We seek to ensure that all people that provide our services, globally do so of their own free will and enjoy the protection we take for granted in our home nation.
The following Code of Conduct encompasses the major elements we believe to be important to supplier and employee welfare. Driven Worldwide will periodically review this Code and make revisions when needed, which we will expect suppliers to adopt.
1.1 MONITORING
Suppliers with whom Driven Worldwide has regular and recurring dealings with should have management processes in place to ensure compliance with this Code. Furthermore, suppliers must make reasonable efforts to monitor their supply chain, ensuring it is aware of and compliant with the aims of the Code.
Suppliers must ensure that their systems and procedures are sufficient to mitigate any potential negative impact on Driven Worldwide’s brand and reputation.
Driven Worldwide reserves the right to randomly review the supplier’s policies, procedures or any other document related to the Driven Worldwide Code of Conduct.
1.2 NON-COMPLIANCE
To be in full compliance, a supplier must meet all provisions of the Code. Some provisions are required and are indicated by the term ‘must’. For those provisions where we have more initial flexibility (as indicated by the term ‘should’), Driven Worldwide requires a development plan be created outlining a timeline for the supplier to come into full compliance.
At all times, our goal is to work with our supply partners on sustainability. In those cases where a supplier or one of its subcontractors is found to be out of compliance with the Code, Driven Worldwide will work with the supplier on an improvement plan. However, if the issue is serious enough or cannot be resolved in a reasonable time frame, Driven Worldwide may take steps to review the terms of the contract, including cancellation.
Section 2: REQUIREMENTS
Below we have set out the economic, environmental and social requirements we require all suppliers to adhere to.
2.1 ECONOMIC
Economic sustainability focuses upon generating profits and bringing economic benefit to the workers, investors and communities in which a company operates.
