Deal roadshow saved by overnight cross-border rescue
When a violent storm grounded flights from Vancouver, the attendance of a primary executive in the deal roadshow looked impossible. Faced with this challenge, the roadshow team at the Canadian bank turned to Driven Worldwide, knowing that if any company could provide a solution, it would be them.
Within an hour, the Driven Worldwide project team, successfully located a chauffeur equipped with a passport, willing to embark on a cross-border journey. The chauffeur collected the stranded executive in Vancouver and embarked on a three-hour drive across the US border to Seattle, where the executive was able to safely catch a flight.
The team at Driven Worldwide masterminded the whole project within a few hours, putting the driver up in a hotel to rest fully before he embarked on the return journey (still in bad weather).
The client credited Driven Worldwide for salvaging their roadshow allowing it proceed seamlessly despite the initial setback.
Exceptional dedication
Safe dispatch of conference delegates amidst Barcelona riots
During an important investor conference in Barcelona, unforeseen rioting by protestors in the city was causing road, rail and air travel disruption.
The client, a Spanish investment bank, reluctantly decided to shorten the event requiring a complete overhaul of the road travel arrangements. The Driven Worldwide onsite project team swung into action and began coordinating cars to take VIP guests to railway stations and airports in adjoining cities avoiding the Barcelona trouble spots.
They were never in personal danger but the disruption was unsettling for everyone. The Driven Worldwide team demonstrated unwavering commitment. They remained at the venue until the client’s conference team and VIP guests were all safely dispatched. As the city quietened and the situation was under control, one selfless Driven Worldwide dispatcher walked two miles to get themselves to a bus station and then waited for 24 hours to catch a rescheduled flight home.

Project manager ensures seamless experience for US energy executives
With a tight project turnaround the executive team of an energy company needed to take a road trip from New York to Jacksonville, FL, to visit various sites crucial to their operations.
The team was travelling with some important visitors and required smooth, flawless travel arrangements. Some of their operations were in remote locations and the busy itinerary didn’t allow for any deviations.
To ensure as seamless a journey as possible the Driven Worldwide project team pre-emptively addressed any potential challenges by sending a driver on a reconnaissance mission to all addresses in advance. From its database of fully vetted approved suppliers the team sourced a luxury coach that could accommodate the whole party comfortably.
The client’s visit went well; they arrived at all their meeting points in plenty of time and they acknowledged the professionalism and attention to detail the team had shown.

Driven Worldwide chauffeur navigates unexpected challenges
During a recent Deal Roadshow in London, relentless rain brought traffic to a standstill, causing heightened stress levels for four overseas VIP passengers en route to a potentially life-changing deal meeting.
The chauffeur, a seasoned member of the Driven Worldwide team, quickly assessed the situation. Near to London Bridge, a strategic decision was made. A swift call to the ground control team determined that the fastest route to the city was via the London Underground. Without hesitation, the chauffeur provided each passenger with a pre-paid Oyster Card, facilitating their seamless transition to the tube.
While reliance on public transport is not the norm, it proved to be the quickest solution to salvage the meeting. The chauffeur then navigated the traffic, ensuring a timely arrival to greet the passengers at the conclusion of their meeting, seamlessly continuing the roadshow.
The client commended the Chauffeur for his practical quick thinking and credited him and the Driven Worldwide team for ensuring the roadshow stayed on track.
